An MCP server (STDIO) project implemented in C#, designed for integration with Large Language Models (LLMs) and tested on Microsoft SQL Server using Claude Desktop.

This server logs information to the mcp_server.log file.

The LLM may modify your database.

✨ Features

Tools Provided to the LLM

• HealthCheck: Tests whether the connection to the Microsoft SQL Server database is good and alive.
• GetSchema: Retrieves a list of all tables along with their corresponding schemas, columns, and types.
• Query: Executes queries in the Microsoft SQL Server database and returns the results in JSON format.

🚀 Quick Start

Configuration with Claude

1. Fill in the env.database file with your SQL Server connection string.
2. Compile the project.
3. In Claude Desktop, go to File->Configurations->Developer and edit the MCP configuration file (claude_desktop_config.json).
4. Paste the following JSON:

5. Restart Claude Desktop.

Open Claude Desktop. If everything is configured correctly, you should see:
