Gitee MCP Toolkit is an open - source tool based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP). It simplifies interactions with the Gitee platform by offering various functional modules to help developers efficiently manage code repositories, handle pull requests, and issues.

📦 Installation

1. Clone the project repository:

git clone https://gitee.com/yourusername/mcp.git
cd mcp

2. Install dependencies:

go mod tidy

3. Start the service:

go run main.go --port=8080

Environment Variable Configuration

Command - line Options

--token Plaintext API token  
--port Specify the port the service listens on [Default: "8080"]  
--mode {development|production} Set the operating mode [Available values: development, production]  

🔧 Toolset Management

Management Modes

1. Whitelist Mode:

   • Use the --enabled-tools parameter or the ENABLED_TOOLS environment variable to specify allowed tools. Other tools will be disabled.
   • Example: --enabled-tools="list_repos,get_file"

2. Blacklist Mode:

   • Use the --disabled-tools parameter or the DISABLED_TOOLS environment variable to specify prohibited tools. Other tools are enabled by default.
   • Example: --disabled-tools="list_repos,get_file"

Notes

⚠️ Important Note

• If both enabled-tools and disabled-tools are configured, the whitelist takes precedence.
• Tool names are case - sensitive.
