This project provides a set of tools to interact with Indian Railways data, integrated with Claude Desktop for easy access.

Claude Desktop Integration

⚠️ Important Note

First, globally install the latest development version of mcp-remote:

npm i -g mcp-remote@next

Streaming HTTP is still under development and not officially released in mcp-remote yet. Therefore, you must use mcp-remote@next.

Accessing the Remote MCP Server from Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop and go to:
   Settings → Developer → Edit Configuration

2. Replace/Add the configuration content with:

3. Restart Claude Desktop.

1. Search for Trains

• Description: Search for available trains between two stations on a specified date.

• Description: Search for available seats on a specified train and date.

4. Get Real - Time Train Status

• Description: Display the current running status and arrival/departure times of a specified train.
• Example Response:

5. Get Train Delay Information

• Description: Provide the average delay time of a specified train at each station in the past month.
