This project implements a server that provides metadata information for Cargo projects using the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

🚀 Quick Start

Build

cargo build --release

Run

cargo run

Or directly run the built binary:

Integration with MCP Client

Basic Usage

The server provides the following tools:

1. get_metadata - Retrieve project metadata information
2. get_package_info - Get project package information
3. get_dependencies - Obtain the list of project dependencies
4. get_targets - Fetch project build targets
5. get_workspace_info - Acquire project workspace information
6. get_features - Retrieve project feature information

Each tool can specify the location of the Cargo.toml file through the optional manifest_path parameter. If not specified, the Cargo.toml file in the current directory is used by default.
