Configure the MCP Server in Cursor

Open the Cursor editor.
Go to Settings -> MCP Servers.
Click "Add new MCP server".
Enter the server link: http://localhost:8000/sse (modify accordingly if you use a custom port).
Save the configuration.

add_todo	Add a new to - do item to the current plan. Parameters: title (Title), description (Description), complexity (Complexity, 0 - 10), code_example (Code example, optional)
remove_todo	Remove a to - do item from the current plan. Parameter: todo_id (To - do item ID)
get_todos	Get all to - do items in the current plan. Parameter: None
update_todo_status	Update the completion status of a to - do item. Parameters: todo_id (To - do item ID), is_complete (Completion status)

Environment Variables

SOFTWARE_PLANNING_PORT: Set the SSE server port number (Default: 8000).
SOFTWARE_PLANNING_HOST: Set the SSE server host address (Default: 0.0.0.0).
SOFTWARE_PLANNING_TRANSPORT: Set the transport type, available values are "stdio" or "sse" (Default: "sse").
SOFTWARE_PLANNING_DEBUG: Enable debug mode, available values are "true", "1" or "yes" (Default: Disabled).

Update

In the fixed version, when executing the update_todo_status tool, it was found that Cursor always passes a numeric type, while the original version requires a string type. Therefore, a special fix has been made.
