A minimal MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for interacting with GitHub pull requests.

This tool allows you to create, list, view diffs, request reviewers, and comment on pull requests in GitHub repositories via MCP.

• Create pull requests in GitHub repositories.
• List open pull requests.
• Get the diff of a pull request.
• Request reviewers for a pull request.
• Add comments to a pull request:
  • Comments are automatically marked as "[AI] Generated using MCP" for easy identification.
  • Support general PR comments and review comments for specific code locations.
• Get comments in a pull request.
• Get file changes with comment locations:
  • Retrieve detailed information about changed files.
  • Provide locations for adding review comments.
  • Display information about additions, deletions, and patches for each file.

📦 Installation

This tool runs as an MCP server in your local environment. You can use it with Copilot Agent or other MCP-compatible clients.

Prerequisites

• Install Node.js.
• Install a compatible MCP extension (e.g., Copilot Agent) in VSCode.

Configuration in settings.json

Add the following content to the settings.json file in VSCode:
