📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or higher)
• Claude Desktop
• A Twitter developer account with API keys

Steps

1. Clone or download this repository

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/twitter-mcp-server
   cd twitter-mcp-server
   

2. Install dependencies

   npm install
   

3. Create a .env file in the project root directory with your Twitter API credentials

   TWITTER_API_KEY=your_api_key
   TWITTER_API_SECRET=your_api_secret
   TWITTER_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_access_token
   TWITTER_ACCESS_SECRET=your_access_secret
   

📚 Documentation

Configuration with Claude Desktop

1. Open Claude Desktop and access settings (from the menu, not within the app).
2. Click "Developer" in the left sidebar, then click "Edit Configuration".
3. Add the Twitter MCP server to your configuration:

Troubleshooting Guide

• Problem: Unable to start the server.

  Solution: Check if the API keys are valid, confirm that the network connection is normal, and view the error messages in the console.
