The MySQL MCP Server is a Spring Boot-based application designed to perform various database operations following the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

📚 Documentation

API Tools

• query

  • Execute a SELECT SQL query and return the result.
  • Input: sql (string)
  • Return: A list of query results (truncated after 4000 characters).
  • Note: Only SELECT queries are allowed.

• listAllTablesName

  • List all table names in the database.
  • No input required.
  • Return: A comma-separated string of table names.

• getTableSchema

  • Retrieve the schema information of a specific table.
  • Input: tableName (string)
  • Return: Comma-separated column information including:
    • Column name
    • Data type
    • Nullability constraint
    • Default value

📦 Installation

Build the project using Maven:

mvn install
