The MCP Inspector is a useful tool for the Model Context Protocol. You can start it with the following commands:

• Start the server:

pnpm start

• Run the inspector:

pnpm inspect

⚙️ Configuration

Open the configuration file in VSCode:

code ~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

The configuration file path is /Users/[User]/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json. Here is an example configuration:

If you are using mise, you can find the node path like this:

$ mise which node
