• findPage: Search for matching Wikipedia pages based on a query.

📦 Installation

npm install @shelm/wikipedia-mcp-server

For development:

cd wikipedia-mcp-server
npm install
npm run build

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

Run the Server

npx @shelm/wikipedia-mcp-server

This will start the MCP server, communicating via stdio.

Programmatic Usage

You can also use the package directly in your own project:

Example Client

An example client is provided to demonstrate how to interact with the server:

node example-client.js

This will perform the following steps:

1. Start the server.
2. Query available tools.
3. Demonstrate sample queries for each tool.
4. Display the results in a simple web interface at http://localhost:3000.

🔧 Technical Details

Build

npm run build

Run in Development Mode

npm run dev

Testing

Test manually using the example client:

node example-client.js

This will demonstrate all available tools and their sample queries.
