📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (Recommended version v16 or higher)
• [Android Debug Bridge (ADB)](https://developer.android.com/studio/command - line/adb) installed and added to the PATH environment variable, or configured via the ADB_PATH environment variable.
• A connected Android device with USB debugging enabled.

Installation Steps

💻 Usage Examples

Using with Claude Desktop

To use this MCP server with Claude Desktop, add the mcp - adb configuration to the claude_desktop_config.json file, which can be found in the Claude Desktop installation directory or through Claude - Settings - Developers - Edit Configuration.

Screenshot Tool

Capture a screenshot from a connected Android device and automatically resize it to 640px width.

Parameters:

• deviceId (Optional): Specify the target device when multiple devices are connected.

Response:

• Return Base64 - encoded image data (PNG format) directly in the response.

Key Press Tool

Send a key event to a connected Android device.

Parameters:

• keycode: The Android key code to send (see the list below).
• deviceId (Optional): Specify the target device when multiple devices are connected.

Available Key Codes:

• KEYCODE_DPAD_CENTER - Center/OK button
• KEYCODE_DPAD_DOWN - Down navigation key
• KEYCODE_DPAD_UP - Up navigation key
• KEYCODE_DPAD_LEFT - Left navigation key
• KEYCODE_DPAD_RIGHT - Right navigation key
• KEYCODE_DPAD_UP_LEFT - Diagonal up - left
• KEYCODE_DPAD_UP_RIGHT - Diagonal up - right
• KEYCODE_DPAD_DOWN_LEFT - Diagonal down - left
• KEYCODE_DPAD_DOWN_RIGHT - Diagonal down - right
• KEYCODE_HOME - Home button
• KEYCODE_BACK - Back button
