🚀 Securities Price MCP Server Sample

This is an example of an MCP server that publishes securities-related information as MCP tools. It is based on the C# MCP SDK sample here.

🚀 Quick Start

Run the Sample with Claude for Desktop

1. Clone the repository and open the root directory in VS Code.
2. Build the project using dotnet build.
3. Configure Claude for Desktop to load your server according to the instructions here. The mcpServers section should include the following snippet:

This example includes 4 tools:

• GetCurrentSecurityInfo: Retrieve information such as the current price and trading volume of a specified trading code.
• GetSecuritiesBySector: Obtain information about all securities in a specified sector.
• GetHistoricalData: Fetch historical information such as the price and trading volume of a trading code within a specified date range.
• GetSectorPerformance: Get the stock price trend and average trading volume within a sector.

You can use these tools to ask Claude questions like:

"How does the current stock price of AAPL compare to the sector performance?"

The data is loaded from static JSON files in the ./api/Data directory.
