🚀 MCP Continuity Server (Simplified Version)

A project management continuity server based on the MCP Continuity Tool, specifically designed to be compatible with MCP SDK version 1.7.0.

🆕 Key Changes in Version 1.0.9

The following modifications have been made in this version:

1. Updated the MCP SDK to 1.7.0 (previously used 1.0.1).
2. Completely removed the resources/list and prompts/list handlers that caused errors.
3. Visualize and manage states through a web interface.
4. Ensured compatibility with Claude Desktop.
5. Replaced all emojis with text for better compatibility.
6. Standardized the format of log messages.
7. Implemented automated testing for all components.
8. Configured continuous integration integrated into GitHub Actions.

📋 Prerequisites

• Node.js 18+
• npm or npx

📦 Installation and Usage

Global Installation

npm install -g @lucasdoreac/mcp-continuity-server

Run with npx

npx @lucasdoreac/mcp-continuity-server

Configuration in Claude Desktop

Add the following content to the claude_desktop_config.json file:

Use from Source Code

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/Lucasdoreac/mcp-continuity-server-fixed.git
cd mcp-continuity-server-fixed

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Run the server:

node src/index.js

Web Server Mode with GUI

To run as an HTTP server with a web interface:

node src/index.js server

After startup, access the web interface at: http://localhost:3000

💻 Web Interface

The web interface provides the following functions:

• View the current state of the project.
• Monitor completed, ongoing, and pending components.
• View remaining tasks for the current component.
• Track development progress.
• Set server parameters.

🛠️ Available Tools

• initProjectState - Initialize the project state based on the repository.
• .getProjectState - Get the current state of the project.
• updateProjectState - Update the project state.
• deleteProjectState - Delete the project state.

These commands allow basic CRUD operations on the project, ensuring continuity during the development process.
