🚀 Weibo Hot Search MCP Server

This is a Weibo hot search data retrieval server based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) framework, offering functions to obtain Weibo hot search lists, hot search details, and comments.

1. Get Weibo Hot Search List

   • Display hot search rankings.
   • Show hot search keywords.
   • Display hot search indices.

2. Get Hot Search Details

   • Topic classification.
   • Topic description.
   • Topic link.
   • Topic statement information.
   • Statistical information (views, comments, interactions, original posts).

3. Get Hot Search Comments

   • Support fetching comments from the first Weibo post or the statement post via the hot search link.
   • The maximum number of comments to retrieve is configurable.
   • Display comment content and like counts.

📦 Installation

Install from Source Code

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/Yooki-K/weibo-mcp-server.git

2. Install dependencies:

pip install -r requirements.txt

⚠️ Important Note

If you use uv run weibo_mcp_server, the dependencies will be installed automatically, and there's no need to run pip install.

Install from PyPI

pip install weibo-mcp-server

Obtain Weibo Cookie

Create a Weibo account, press F12 to open the developer tools, and obtain the following Cookie:

Run the Project Locally

Add this tool to the MCP server.
