🚀 ADB MCP Server

This is an MCP server for Android Debug Bridge (ADB), enabling Claude to interact with Android devices.

🛠️ Tool List

1. get-devices
   • List connected Android devices.
   • Parameters: None
   • Example Output:

   List of devices attached
   0a00000000000000	Device Name	model	number
   

2. install-apk
   • Install an APK file on the device.
   • Parameters: <apk-path>
   • Example:

   install-apk /path/to/app.apk
   

3. uninstall-apk
   • Uninstall an application from the device.
   • Parameters: <package-name>
   • Example:

   uninstall-apk com.example.app
   

4. start-activity
   • Start a specified Activity.
   • Parameters: <package-name>/<action> [--ez <name> <value>]
   • Example:

   start-activity com.example/.MainActivity --ez test 123
   

5. input-text
   • Input text on the device.
   • Parameters: <text>
   • Example:

   input-text Hello, World!
   

6. click
   • Simulate a click operation on the device.
   • Parameters: <x> <y>
   • Example:

   click 500 1200
   

7. screenshot
   • Take a screenshot of the device screen.
   • Parameters: None
   • Example:

   screenshot /path/to/screenshot.png
   

8. logcat
   • Get the device's log information.
   • Parameters: [--pid <PID>] [--time]
   • Example:

   logcat --pid 1234
   

📦 Installation

Steps:

# Clone the repository
git clone [repository-url]
cd mcp-server-adb

# Install dependencies
npm install

# Build the project
npm run build

Configuration in Claude Desktop

Edit the claude_desktop_config.json file and add the following content:

Please replace /path/to/adb with the actual path to your ADB executable file.

Configuration in Windsurf

1. Ensure Node.js and ADB are installed.
2. Clone and build the project:

git clone https://github.com/jiantao88/android-mcp-server.git
cd android-mcp-server
npm install
npm run build

3. Add MCP configuration in Windsurf's settings:

⚠️ Important Note

• Replace all paths with your actual paths.
• /usr/local/bin/adb is the default installation location of ADB, adjust it according to your actual situation.

4. Restart Windsurf to apply the configuration.
