📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js 20.x or higher.
• Freepik API key (available at https://www.freepik.com/developers/dashboard/api-key).

Steps

1. Clone or download this repository:

   git clone https://github.com/grafikogr/freepik-mcp-server.git
   cd freepik-mcp-server
   

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Copy the .env.example file and rename it to .env, then add your Freepik API key:

   cp .env.example .env
   

4. Edit the .env file and replace the FREEPIK_API_KEY variable with your API key.

Basic Usage

1. Start the server:

   npm start
   

2. Run the following command in Claude Desktop to start the server:

   @freepik help
   

Advanced Usage

Integrate into Claude Desktop

To configure this MCP server in Claude Desktop, follow these steps:

1. Go to Claude Desktop's settings.
2. Add the following configuration to the mcpServers section:

   "mcpServers": {

3. Restart Claude Desktop.

generate_image

Generate an image based on a text description and an optional image aspect ratio.

Parameters:

• prompt: Text description of the image (required).
• aspect_ratio: Aspect ratio of the image (optional).

Available image aspect ratios:

• square_1_1: Square (1:1).
• classic_4_3: Classic (4:3).
• traditional_3_4: Traditional (3:4).
• widescreen_16_9: Widescreen (16:9).
• social_story_9_16: Social story (9:16).
• standard_3_2: Standard (3:2).
• portrait_2_3: Portrait (2:3).
• horizontal_2_1: Horizontal (2:1).
• vertical_1_2: Vertical (1:2).

Error Handling
