Arcjet enables developers to safeguard their applications with just a few lines of code. It offers a developer-centric security solution encompassing bot detection, rate limiting, email verification, attack protection, and data masking.

This is the Arcjet Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. It provides useful context information for AI agents, facilitating the integration of Arcjet into your applications and enabling you to obtain information from Arcjet regarding request processing.

📦 Installation

ARCJET_API_KEY

⚠️ Important Note Currently, Arcjet does not have a public API key. Therefore, you need to use the login session ID as the ARCJET_API_KEY. We are actively working on implementing proper API key management.

1. Log in to your Arcjet account.
2. Open your browser's developer tools.
3. Navigate to the Application tab -> Storage -> Cookies.
4. Use the value of the session cookie (a UUID) as the ARCJET_API_KEY and add it to the mcp.json file below.

Cursor

1. Clone this repository locally.
2. Run npm install and npm run build.
3. Open Cursor settings (Cmd+Shift+P > Cursor Settings) > MCP > Add a new MCP server.
4. Add the following content to the mcp.json file below:

Replace /PATH/TO/mcp/index.js with the absolute path of your local index.js file. For example, if you cloned the repository to the Downloads folder on macOS (with a username of totoro), the path should be: /Users/totoro/Downloads/mcp/index.js

5. In the Cursor MCP settings, ensure that the arcjet MCP server is displayed as enabled.
