This is an MCP server designed for integrating with Google Drive and Google Sheets, offering seamless access and management of data within these platforms.

⚙️ Configuration

The server requires the following files:

• credentials.json: OAuth 2.0 client configuration downloaded from the Google Cloud Console.
• token.json: Generated after the first authorization (do not edit manually).

🚀 Running the Server

npm start

When you run the server for the first time, you'll be prompted to authorize access to your Google account. Follow the instructions in the browser to complete the authorization process.

📋 Setup Guide

1. Visit the Google Cloud Console.
2. Create a new project or select an existing one.
3. Enable the Google Drive API and Google Sheets API for your project.
4. Configure the OAuth consent screen:
   • Navigate to the "OAuth consent screen".
   • Select the "External" user type.
   • Fill in the app name and other required information.
   • Add the necessary scopes for Drive and Sheets.
   • Add your email as a test user.
5. Create OAuth 2.0 credentials:
   • Go to "Credentials".
   • Click "Create credentials" > "OAuth client ID".
   • Choose "Desktop app" as the application type.
   • Enter the client name.
   • Download the client configuration file.
   • Rename it to credentials.json and place it in the project root directory.
