🚀 MCP + openGauss

As AI evolves from static inference to dynamic interaction, agents have gradually become the focus. Agents can not only call large language models (LLMs) for inference but also access databases, call APIs, and execute tasks. However, there is currently a lack of a standardized interaction protocol between LLMs and agents. Each new data source requires custom implementation, making it difficult to scale truly interconnected systems. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) addresses this challenge. MCP is a standardized interaction framework designed for LLM and agent systems, enabling LLMs to efficiently interact with external databases, APIs, and tools.

🚀 Quick Start: Building an AI Agent Application with openGauss + MCP + LLM

🛠️ Environment Preparation

• Install the Python 3 environment and uv.
• Deploy and start the openGauss database via a container. (Refer to the official openGauss website: Learning -> Documentation -> Latest Development Version -> Installation Guide -> Container Image Installation)
• Download Claude Desktop to conduct Q&A operations in conjunction with the MCP protocol.

📥 Obtain the openGauss_mcp_server Source Code

Access the link to obtain the openGauss_mcp_server source code. The current version is (0.1.0).

⚙️ Parameter Configuration

• Open the Claude Desktop settings and edit the configuration file.
