🚀 DoiT MCP Server

DoiT MCP Server provides an interface for accessing DoiT platform data. This server enables large language models like Claude to obtain DoiT platform data required for troubleshooting and analysis.

🚀 Quick Start

✨ Prerequisites

• Node.js v18 or higher
• A DoiT API key with appropriate permissions
• A customer context identifier (for displaying data of a specific customer)

📦 Installation

To obtain your DoiT API key, visit the API Key section of your DoiT profile.

There are multiple ways to install and configure the MCP server:

Install via Smithery (Recommended)

To automatically install the doit-mcp-server for Claude Desktop:

npx -y @smithery/cli@latest install @doitintl/doit-mcp-server --client claude

Claude Desktop Application

To manually configure the MCP server for the Claude Desktop application, add the following content to the claude_desktop_config.json file or configure it through the "Settings" section (as described here):

Other Methods

You can also install the MCP server in the following way:

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/doitintl/doit-mcp-server.git
cd doit-mcp-server

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Start the server:

node index.js

• get_cloud_incidents: Retrieve recent cloud incidents.
• list_reports: List all available reports.
• generate_report: Generate a report based on specified parameters.
• validate_user: Validate the current user and return their domain and email information.

Here are some examples of common queries:

Cost Analysis and Savings

• "What are my Flexsave savings?" - This will analyze your Flexsave cost optimization savings in your cloud account.
• "What are my top 3 AWS services by cost?" - This will run a Cloud Analytics query to identify your top-spending AWS services.

Reporting and Analysis

• "List all my available reports" - This will display all your Cloud Analytics reports.
• "Show me the results of my 'Monthly Cost Overview' report" - This will retrieve and display the results of a specific report.

Anomaly Detection

• "What are my recent GCP anomalies?" - This will display recent cost or usage anomalies in your Google Cloud Platform account.
• "Show me details about anomaly ABC123" - This will provide detailed information about a specific anomaly.

These examples demonstrate basic usage patterns. You can combine and modify these queries as needed. The MCP server will parse your natural language queries and use appropriate tools to obtain the required information.
