🚀 Quick Start

This is an MCP project leveraging the Tavily API. When you ask "Please search for something" in Claude Desktop, you'll receive search results.

Components

This server uses the Tavily API to perform searches based on specified queries.

• Search results are returned in text format.
• Search results include AI answers, URIs, and titles of the search results.

Tools

This server implements the following tools:

• search: Performs a search based on the specified query
  • Required parameter: "query"
  • Optional parameter: "search_depth" (basic or advanced)

📦 Installation

1. Download the repository.

git clone https://github.com/Tomatio13/mcp-server-tavily.git

2. Open the Claude Desktop configuration file.

On MacOS: `~/Library/Application\ 支持/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json`
On Windows: `C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json`

3. Edit the configuration file as follows:

Basic Usage

In Claude Desktop, when you ask a search question, you'll get the search results.

Search example:

Response example:

According to the search results, the following events are taking place in Kamakura today (December 1st):
1. Chihiro Kadoki Piano Recital
2. Yoshitomo Nara Exhibition
