This is a simple project example demonstrating the interaction between a TypeScript-based MCP server and Unity. You can build and configure your own tools for further expansion and development.

🚀 Quick Start

unity-mcp-sample is a Unity example project. To minimize version-related issues and ensure compatibility with older versions, it does not use packages such as NewtonsoftJSON. Additionally, the EditorWindow is implemented using IMGUI. MCP can be managed via UnityMCP-ShowWindow at the top.

Build the MCP Server

In unity-mcp-server:

npm install
npm run build

Add MCP in Claude Desktop

Open the Claude Desktop settings and edit the configuration file:

Create Your Own Tools!

The input data structure should be the same as the existing one.

Refer to CreateObjectTools and create the tools you need.
