🚀 MCP MySQL Local Database Service

MCP MySQL Service is a lightweight program designed for personal use. It's mainly used to connect to and operate local MySQL databases. This service can be used as Cursor's MCP service, enabling Cursor to easily perform various database operations through API interfaces.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14+)
• MySQL Server

Installation

1. Clone this repository.
2. Install dependencies.

npm install

3. Create and configure the .env file.

# Server configuration
PORT=3000
NODE_ENV=development

# MySQL database configuration
DB_HOST=localhost
DB_PORT=3306
DB_USER=Your username
DB_PASSWORD=Your password
DB_NAME=Your database name

# API configuration
API_KEY=Your API key

Running

npm start

In development mode (with auto-restart):

npm run dev

🔧 Technical Details

Security Considerations

• This service is intended for local use only and is not recommended to be exposed to the public network.
• Use API keys to protect interfaces.
• By default, only SELECT queries are allowed to be executed.
