This is an HTTP wrapper designed for Model Context Protocol servers, running on AWS Lambda. It simplifies the deployment and management of MCP servers in the AWS environment.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v18 or higher)
• AWS CLI configured with appropriate credentials
• Serverless Framework

Installation Steps

npm install

Setting Up MCP Servers

Before testing or deploying, you need to install dependencies and build each MCP server:

# Navigate to each MCP server directory and install dependencies
cd mcp_servers/[server-name]
npm install
npm run build

# Repeat the above steps for each server directory under mcp_servers/

Local Development

Using Serverless Offline

Run the service locally using Serverless Offline:

npm run dev

Using Express for Easier Debugging

npm run dev:express

Deployment

Configuring AWS Credentials

Before deployment, ensure that your AWS credentials are configured:

aws configure

Preparing MCP Servers

Make sure all MCP servers are built before deployment (see the Setting Up MCP Servers section).

Deploying to the Development Environment

npm run deploy

This will:

1. Clean the dist directory.
2. Compile TypeScript code.
3. Package necessary files, including MCP servers.
4. Deploy to AWS using the Serverless Framework.

Deploying to the Production Environment

npm run deploy:prod

Listing Available Tools

GET /{serverName}

Invoking a Tool

POST /{serverName}/{toolName}

Depending on the specific MCP server configuration, the required headers must be included.
