This is a Local Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides all pages from the Mike Creighton Consulting website (https://mikecreighton.com) as resources for any MCP client to use.

📦 Installation

uv is required to run this MCP server. It ensures the use of the correct Python virtual environment without any setup.

MCP Tools

• list_mikecreighton_website_pages - Lists all available pages on the Mike Creighton website.
• get_mikecreighton_website_page_content - Retrieves the content of a specific page.
• search_mikecreighton_website_pages - Performs a simple keyword search in page titles and descriptions.

MCP Resources

• Each page is provided as an independently named resource, which can be explicitly referenced in conversations if needed.
• These resources are defined in Markdown format at runtime.

Configuration Requirements

To use this feature on Claude Desktop, you need to update the corresponding claude_desktop_config.json file. The location of this file varies depending on the operating system:

• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

⚠️ Important Note

You may need to specify the full path of the uv command.

Utility Tool

download.py

This tool crawls the mikecreighton.com website and downloads all pages as HTML files to the local html folder. Then it uses MarkItDown to convert these HTML files to Markdown format and saves the corresponding Markdown files for each HTML file to the local markdown folder.

Finally, it generates a JSON object mapping of the website structure, representing the hierarchical structure of the original website. Each page contains the following pattern:

Each time you run this utility tool, it clears the existing files in the html and markdown folders. Note that these files are not committed to the repository because the website is updated regularly.
