Fireproof Storage MCP Database Server

🚀 Environment Context Protocol and Firewall Demo: JSON Document Server

This is a simple example of using the Fireproof database in a Model Context Protocol server, which is used to insert code and data into A.I. systems like Claude Desktop.

This demo server implements a basic JSON document storage with CRUD operations (Create, Read, Update, Delete) and the ability to query and sort documents by any field.

Install the dependencies:

Run the Server

To use it with Claude Desktop, add the server configuration:

• On MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json
• On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Debugging

Since the MCP server communicates via stdio, debugging can be challenging. We recommend using the MCP Inspector, which is available as a package script:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL to access the debugging tools in the browser.
