📦 Installation

Prerequisites

Before installing any MCP server, ensure the following:

Installation Steps

1. Install the MCP Server

a. Download the Installer

2. Configure API Keys

Configure the following API keys as needed:

Brave Search API Key: Visit Brave Search API to register and obtain the key.
Perplexity API Key: After creating an account on Perplexity AI, generate the API key in the settings.
Slack Bot Token: Go to Slack API Apps to create a new application and follow the steps to get the Bot User OAuth Token.
Bluesky Application Password: After registering an account on Bluesky, create a new application password in the settings.

Mac Users

Obtaining API Keys

If you haven't obtained the required API keys, follow these steps:

Brave Search API Key:
- Visit Brave Search API.
- Register for a Brave account (if not already registered).
- Register in the API section and obtain your API key.
Perplexity API Key:
- Go to Perplexity AI to create an account.
- After logging in, go to the settings and generate a new API key.
Slack Bot Token:
- Go to Slack API Apps to create a new application.
- Add the necessary bot token scopes in the "OAuth & Permissions" section.
- Install the application to your team and copy the Bot User OAuth Token (starting with "xoxb - ").
Bluesky Application Password:
- Register and log in to Bluesky.
- Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Application Passwords to create a new password.
