🚀 AnyPixel.js Introduction

AnyPixel.js is an open - source hardware and software library that enables us to create large, unusual, and interactive display devices using the web. Anyone can fork the code and schematics to create their own display devices at any scale.

This platform was first used in the 8th Avenue lobby of the Google NYC office. To create this installation, we used 5,880 off - the - shelf arcade buttons, each with an LED inside as a pixel. The simple and intuitive hardware and software framework of AnyPixel.js makes it very easy to build any interactive display device.

• /firmware - Microcontroller code written for the STM32 device family.
• /backend - Node.js and Chrome applications for communicating with the hardware.
• /frontend - An application framework in the browser, a previewer, and 12 example applications written by Google employees and friends around the world.

Create Your Own Application
