This documentation provides a detailed introduction to the io.model SDK, which offers interfaces, tools, resources, and tips for building model - supported applications.

📦 Installation

To use the SDK in your project, add the following dependency to your deps.edn:

io.model.context {:mvn/version "0.1.0"}

Creating a Context

Create a basic context instance as follows:

(require [io.model.context :as ctx])

(let [context (ctx/create-context)]

Core Concepts

Context

A context is a container for tools, resources, and prompts. You can create an empty context like this:

(empty-context)

Then add tools, resources, or prompts to it.

Tools

Tools are functions that can execute commands, such as a calculator. Register a tool using the following method:

(add-tool context :name tool-fn & args)

Resources

Resources are functions that provide content, for example, reading content from a file. Register a resource like this:

(add-resource context :uri resource-fn)

Prompts

Prompts are functions that generate reply messages, often used in dialogue systems. Register a prompt using the following method:

(add-prompt context :name prompt-fn & args)

Transport Layer

To implement a custom transport protocol, simply inherit the Transport interface and implement the following methods:

• initialize
• read-message
• write-message

Client API

You can interact with the server through the client API, which mainly includes the following methods:

Development Guide

This is a standard deps-new project, and all deps-new commands can run normally.

To run project tests:

$ make test ## or clojure -T:build test

Build a JAR package and run the CI pipeline:

$ make build ## or clojure -T:build ci

Install locally:

$ make install ## or clojure -T:build install

Deploy to Clojars. You need to set the CLOJARS_USERNAME and CLOJARS_PASSWORD environment variables (run the ci task first):

$ make deploy ## or clojure -T:build deploy

This SDK is built on [lsp4clj](https://github.com/clojure - lsp/lsp4clj), which solves the difficult problem of handling all JSON - RPC edge cases. Before realizing the intelligent approach of lsp4clj, I manually built this layer and discovered all the edge cases.
