The ServiceStack MCP server is used to explore and invoke ServiceStack APIs. This is a TypeScript-based MCP server that implements a simple note-taking system, demonstrating core MCP concepts in the following ways:

• Access and list notes via note:// URIs.
• Each note includes a title, content, and metadata.
• Use the plain text MIME type for simple content access.

📦 Installation

When using with Claude Desktop, add the server configuration:

On MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

💻 Usage Examples

Development

Install dependencies:

npm install

Build the server:

npm run build

Development with auto-rebuild:

npm run watch

Debugging

Debugging can be challenging since the MCP server communicates via standard input and output. We recommend using MCP Inspector, which is available as a package script:

npm run inspector

The Inspector will provide a URL that can be accessed in a browser to access the debugging tools.
