🚀 Hypercycler MCP Server

The Hypercycler MCP Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed for the SuperCollider programming language. It allows the execution of synthesized sounds using supercolliderjs.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

1. Install SuperCollider on your device.
2. Node.js and npm should be installed on your device. You can download them from the official Node.js website.

Compatibility

This project has been tested and confirmed to work on macOS systems equipped with Apple Silicon (M1) processors. Compatibility with other operating systems or processor architectures has not been verified.

📦 Installation

Using Claude Desktop

Add the following content to your claude_desktop_config.json file:

Using VS Code

Add the following JSON block to your user settings (JSON) file. You can open it by pressing Ctrl + Shift + P and entering “Preferences: Open User Settings (JSON)”.

If you prefer, you can also add it to a file named .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace. This allows sharing the configuration with other users.

⚠️ Important Note

The mcp key is not required in the .vscode/mcp.json file.
