This is a fork of Cesar Alvernaz's "Alphavantage MCP Server". It fixes some errors that prevented the server from running correctly. It serves as an MCP server for the stock market data API, specifically the Alphavantage API.

📦 Installation

Get an API Key

1. Sign up and obtain a free API key from Free Alphavantage API Key.
2. Add the API key to your environment variables with the name ALPHAVANTAGE_API_KEY.

Use with Claude Desktop

Add the following content to your claude_desktop_config.json file:

⚠️ Important Note

Replace <DIRECTORY> with the actual folder path and YOUR_API_KEY_HERE with your own API key.
