⚠️ Important Note

There are some prerequisites for running this server:

Install Claude for Desktop, Node.js, and Git.

Register for GRID, upload a spreadsheet, and save a copy of your API key.

Clone this repository:

git clone https://github.com/GRID-is/claude-mcp.git

After cloning, navigate to the new directory:

cd claude-mcp

Next, set up the project using npm:

npm install

Now, we need to configure Claude for Desktop to use this MCP server. To do this, open the Claude application configuration file (create it if it doesn't exist). On MacOS:

~/Library/Application\ Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

On Windows:

%APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

Add your server under the mcpServers key:

Quit Claude for Desktop and reopen it. Now you can ask Claude questions about the spreadsheet:
