This guide provides a step-by-step process to integrate Twitter MCP with Claude, allowing Claude to interact with Twitter using specific tools.

🚀 Quick Start

Step 1: Create a Twitter Developer Account

Create a Twitter developer account on the Twitter Developer Console and obtain your API keys.

Step 2: Configure Claude Desktop

Add the following configuration to your Claude desktop configuration file:

• Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json
• macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

Step 3: Restart Claude Desktop

Restart Claude desktop. Simply closing and reopening the application is not sufficient; you need to click on "File" and select the "Exit" option.

After completing these steps, Claude can use two tools to interact with Twitter via the Twitter MCP server:

• post_tweet: Post a new tweet.
• search_tweets: Search for tweets.
