🚀 Google Workspace MCP Server

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that provides tools to interact with Gmail and Calendar APIs. This server allows you to programmatically manage emails and calendar events through the MCP interface.

Email Tools

• list_emails: List recent emails in the inbox, with optional filtering support.
• search_emails: Perform advanced email searches using Gmail query syntax.
• send_email: Send new emails, supporting CC and BCC.
• modify_email: Modify email labels (archive, delete, mark as read/unread).

Calendar Tools

• list_events: List upcoming calendar events, supporting date range filtering.
• create_event: Create new calendar events, supporting attendees.
• update_event: Update existing calendar events.
• delete_event: Delete calendar events.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

1. Node.js: Ensure that Node.js version 14 or higher is installed.
2. Google Cloud Console:
   • Create a project and enable the Gmail API and Calendar API.
   • Create an OAuth client ID for the project and obtain the client_id, client_secret, and refresh_token.
3. Environment Variables: Set the following variables in the server environment:

   CLIENT_ID=your_client_id
   CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret
   REFRESH_TOKEN=your_refresh_token
   

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the Repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/google-workspace-mcp.git
   cd google-workspace-mcp
   

2. Install Dependencies:

   npm install
   

3. Create Credential File:
   • Create a credentials.json file in the project root directory with the following content:

4. Run the Server:
