Command - line Options

0. Start the MCP Server

Start the MCP server directly:

python -m mcp_server_requests

Parameter Options:

• --user - agent TEXT: Specify a custom User - Agent string.
• --random - user - agent [browser=xxx;os=xxx]: Use a randomly generated User - Agent.
• --force - user - agent: Force the use of the User - Agent specified on the command line (via --user - agent), ignoring the User - Agent specified by the LLM, and the same applies to other tools.
• --version: Display version information and exit.

1. General Function Description

All tools support the following parameters:

Response Header Control:

• Custom headers (e.g., User - Agent, Authorization, etc.) can be added to the request through the headers parameter.
• The LLM can specify the User - Agent through headers, and whether to use it is determined by --force - user - agent.

Request Body Data Format:

• Two data formats are supported:
  • data: Data in text form.
  • json: Data in JSON format.
• Note: data and json cannot be used simultaneously.

2. Specific Tool Description

1. http_get

Function: Perform an HTTP GET request.

Parameters:

• url (required): The target URL address.
• query (optional): Key - value pairs of query parameters, supporting multiple parameters.
• headers (optional): Custom request headers.

2. http_post

Function: Perform an HTTP POST request.

Parameters:

• url (required): The target URL address.
• query (optional): Key - value pairs of query parameters, supporting multiple parameters.
• headers (optional): Custom request headers.
• data (optional): Request body text data.
• json (optional): Request body JSON data.

3. http_put

Function: Perform an HTTP PUT request.

Parameters: Same as http_post.

4. http_patch

Function: Perform an HTTP PATCH request.

Parameters: Same as http_post.

5. http_delete

Function: Perform an HTTP DELETE request.

Parameters: Same as http_post.
