Basic Usage

There are two usage modes:

Local Mode (Recommended)

Advanced Usage

Here are the execution details of different types of tools:

Python Tools

• Run Python tools in a new thread .spawn in the Node.js environment.
• Notes:
  • There is interpreter startup overhead in the JS environment.
  • Complete privacy (code runs locally).
  • More suitable for tasks requiring complex Python packages.
• Python tools receive parameters through the input_json dictionary and can access environment variables via input_json["openv"].

Bash Tools

• Execute Bash tools as child processes.
• Parameters are passed to the script's standard input in JSON format.
• Run very fast in the Node.js environment.
• Offer better performance in the JavaScript/nodejs environment.
• Note: Bash tools should be tested in a Linux environment or WSL, as they may not work properly on Windows.
