📦 Installation

npm install -g mcpctl

Basic Usage

# 🔍 Install a server
mcpctl install playwright # Install the Playwright server

# 🗑️ Uninstall a server 
mcpctl remove playwright # Uninstall the Playwright server

# 🔎 Search for available servers
mcpctl packages github # Search for MCP servers with a specific name

# 📋 List installed servers
mcpctl list # Display existing MCP servers installed on the device

Development Environment Setup

1. Clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/cloudycotton/mcp_ctl.git
cd mcp_ctl

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Run development commands:

• List all packages:

npm run dev -- packages

• Search for a specific package:

npm run dev -- search github

• Install a package:

npm run dev -- install playwright

• List installed servers:

npm run dev -- list

Adding Custom Packages

1. Clone the repository.
2. Add your package to the packages folder.
3. Import it in packages.ts.
