A patent search tool leveraging the KIPRIS (Korea Intellectual Property Rights Information Service) API.

🚀 Quick Start

1. Environment Setup

• KIPRIS_API_KEY: You need an authentication key to use the KIPRIS API.

export KIPRIS_API_KEY=your_api_key_here

2. Start the Server

python3 server.py

Korean Patent Search

1. Applicant Search: Search for patents filed by a specific company or individual.
2. Keyword Search: Search for patents related to specific keywords.
3. Application Number Search: Search in detail for the patent corresponding to a specific application number.
4. Right Holder Search: Search for patents related to a specific right holder.
5. Summary Information Search: Inquire about summary information through the application number.
6. Detailed Information Search: Inquire about detailed information through the application number.

Overseas Patent Search

1. Overseas Applicant Search: Search for patents filed by a specific company or individual in overseas regions.
2. Overseas Application Number Search: Search for patents corresponding to the application numbers in overseas regions.
3. Free Text Search: Search for overseas patents related to specific keywords.
4. International Application Number Search: Search for patents through the international application number.
5. International Publication Number Search: Search for patents through the international publication number.

Supported Tools List

1. Korean Patent Search:

   • patent_applicant_search: Search based on the applicant.
   • patent_keyword_search: Search based on keywords.
   • patent_application_number_search: Search by application number.
   • patent_righter_search: Search based on right - holder information.
   • patent_summary_search: Inquire about summary information.
   • patent_detail_search: Inquire about detailed information.

2. Overseas Patent Search:

   • foreign_patent_applicant_search: Search based on overseas applicants.
   • foreign_patent_application_number_search: Search by overseas application number.
   • foreign_patent_free_search: Search with free text.
   • foreign_patent_international_application_number_search: Search by international application number.
   • foreign_patent_international_open_number_search: Search by international publication number.

Response Format

All API responses are returned in JSON format and have the following structure:

Logging

The server provides DEBUG - level logging by default. You can check the following information in the logs:

• Start/end time of tool calls.
• Time taken for tool execution.
• Detailed information when an error occurs.
