🚀 Example: Running on STDIN

This example demonstrates how to run a server and perform various operations using JSON-RPC requests on STDIN.

Run the Server

To start the server, use the following command:

mcp run server.py

💻 Usage Examples

1. Initialization Request

The following JSON-RPC request is used to initialize the connection. Note that it must be sent in a single line.

2. Initialization Success

After successful initialization, the server will send the following notification:

3. Network Status Query (Ping)

To check the network status, send a ping request:

4. List Tools

To get a list of available tools, use the following request:

5. Call Tool: Add
