📦 Installation

Build from Source

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/mcp-proxy.git
   cd mcp-proxy
   

2. Install dependencies:

   go mod tidy
   

3. Build and run:

   go run main.go -config=config.json
   

Install with Go

go install github.com/yourusername/mcp-proxy/cmd/mcp-proxy@latest

Docker Deployment

1. Create a Dockerfile:

   FROM golang:1.20 AS builder
   

WORKDIR /app COPY go.mod ./ RUN go mod tidy COPY . . RUN CGO=off GOOS=linux go build -o mcp-proxy ./main.go

FROM alpine:3.18 WORKDIR /app COPY --from=builder /app/mcp-proxy . CMD ["./mcp-proxy", "-config=/etc/config.json"]

2. Build the image:

docker build -t mcp-proxy .

3. Run the container:

   docker run -p 8080:8080 --restart unless-stopped -v /path/to/config:/etc/config.json mcp-proxy

Configuration Field Explanation

• mcpProxy:

  • baseURL: The public access URL used to generate client URLs.
  • addr: The server listening address.
  • name: The server name.
  • version: The server version.
  • options: Default options.

• clients:

Usage Instructions

1. Start the server:

   mcp-proxy -config=config.json
   

2. Access the client:
