📦 Installation

Method 1: Global installation from npm

# Global installation
npm install -g payload-cms-mcp

# Start the server
payload-cms-mcp

Method 2: Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/Matmax-Worldwide/payloadcmsmcp.git
cd payloadcmsmcp
npm install
npm run dev or npm run local

🛡️ Important Notes

To ensure the normal operation of the MCP server, you need to meet the following dependencies:

• Node.js and npm are installed on your system.
• You have a stable network connection.

Before starting the server, please check if your Node.js version is compatible with the project. If you encounter any issues, please check the error logs for more information.

🔧 Configuring the MCP Server

Create a new configuration file

Navigate to the MCP server directory and create a new configuration file:

touch config.json
