A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for accessing Oura Ring data.

🚀 Quick Start

This MCP server enables access to Oura Ring data. It allows seamless integration with other applications and provides a variety of data resources.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16+)
• An Oura account

Installation Steps

1. Clone the repository.
2. Run the following commands:

npm install
npm run build

📚 Documentation

Obtain Credentials

1. Log in to the Oura Cloud Console.
2. Obtain one of the following:
   • Personal access tokens (for testing).
   • OAuth2 credentials (for production).

Environment Variable Configuration

Create a .env file:

# Option 1: Personal access token
OURA_PERSONAL_ACCESS_TOKEN=your_token

# Option 2: OAuth2 credentials
OURA_CLIENT_ID=your_client_id
OURA_CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret
OURA_REDIRECT_URI=http://localhost:3000/callback

Testing Guide

node test.js <tool_name> <date>

Example: node test.js get_daily_sleep 2023-05-01

Integration with Claude Desktop

Add the following to the Claude Desktop configuration file (Path: Settings → Developer → Edit Configuration):

💡 Available Tools

For date-based resources, you can use tools like get_daily_sleep and specify the startDate and endDate parameters (Format: YYYY-MM-DD).
