🚀 Apifox MCP and Cursor Integration Guide

This guide provides a step-by-step process for integrating Apifox MCP services with Cursor, enabling you to efficiently implement API interfaces using AI.

📋 Environment Requirements

• NodeJS version must be 18 or higher.

📦 Installation

🔧 Step 1: Prepare Apifox MCP Service

1.1 Clone the Apifox MCP Project

git clone https://github.com/Tzott/apifox-mcp-demo.git

1.2 Create Environment Variables

cd apifox-mcp-demo
cp .env.example .env

1.3 Create an Access Token in the Apifox Client and Write it to the .env File

1.4 Start the Apifox MCP Service

# If pnpm is not installed, you can run: npm i -g pnpm
pnpm i && pnpm build && pnpm start

1.5 View the Successful Startup Log

> apifox-mcp-demo@0.0.1 start /Users/code/apifox-mcp-demo
> node lib/index.js

SSE endpoint: http://localhost:4444/sse
Message endpoint: http://localhost:4444/messages
HTTP server listening on port 4444

🔧 Step 2: Prepare Cursor

2.1 Create a Blank Nestjs Project

npm i -g @nestjs/cli
nest new nest-ai-demo
cd nest-ai-demo

2.2 Add a Cursor MCP Configuration

Copy the SSE address from the apifox-mcp-demo project and fill it into the Server URL. You can see that the MCP service is successfully connected.

2.3 Open the Cursor Composer and Switch to Agent Mode

2.4 Copy a Collaboration Link for an Apifox Interface

2.5 Paste it into the Composer and Let it Implement the Interface

Obtain the OpenAPI definition through this Apifox collaboration link and then implement this interface based on the definition.
Note: The technology used is nestjs + typescript, and the project has already been set up, so you can directly implement it.

2.6 The Cursor Composer Completes the Implementation and Accepts the Result

2.7 Start the Nestjs Service and Call the AI-Written Interface through Apifox. The Assertion Passes
