The Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is designed for Jira Cloud products. This integration is specifically tailored for Jira Cloud instances and does not support Jira Server or Data Center deployments.

🚀 Quick Start

This section provides a step - by - step guide on how to use the MCP Jira Server with Claude Desktop.

1. Obtain an API token from the following link: https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens

2. Add it to your claude_desktop_config.json file.

3. Clone this repository and run npm install.

4. Run npm run build.
