🚀 G2N MCP Google Calendar SSE Server

A server implementation based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that provides integration with Google Calendar through Server-Sent Events (SSE). This server offers Google Calendar functionality as tools for AI models and applications such as Cursor, Claude, and n8n to interact with Google Calendar.

🚀 Quick Start

Prerequisites

• Install Docker and Docker Compose.
• Enable the Calendar API in your Google Cloud project.
• Obtain a Google OAuth 2.0 client ID and client secret.

Environment Variables

The server uses the following environment variables:

PORT=3001                                # Server port (default: 3001)
PUBLIC_URL=https://your-domain.com       # Public URL for OAuth callback
GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=${GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID}     # Google OAuth client ID
GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=${GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET} # Google OAuth client secret
OAUTH_REDIRECT_PATH=/oauth/callback      # OAuth callback path (default: /oauth/callback)

⚠️ Important Note

• When using Traefik, ensure it is configured to point to the port specified by the PORT environment variable.
• This is crucial for successfully receiving Google refresh tokens.
• The PUBLIC_URL must be accessible from the internet for the OAuth callback to work properly.

Supported Languages

By default, two languages are supported:

• Chinese (zh-CN)
• English (en-US)

• get-calendar: Get detailed information about a specific calendar.
• list-events: List events from a calendar with filtering options.
• get-event: Get detailed information about a specific event.
• create-event: Create a new calendar event.
• update-event: Update an existing calendar event.
• delete-event: Delete a calendar event.
• list-colors: List available colors for events and calendars.

📦 Installation

Installation Steps

1. Clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/your-repository.git
cd G2N-MCP-GoogleCalendar-SSE-Server

2. Install dependencies

npm install

3. Configure environment variables

   • Create a .env file and add the following content:

     PORT=3001
     PUBLIC_URL=https://your-domain.com
     GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=Your Google client ID
     GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=Your Google client secret
     

4. Start the server

npm start

💻 Usage Examples

Basic Usage

After starting the server, you can access the services through the following endpoints:

• GET /api/list-calendars: List all calendars.
• GET /api/get-calendar?calendarId=your_calendar_id: Get detailed information about a specific calendar.
• GET /api/list-events?calendarId=your_calendar_id: List events with filtering options.
