Greetings, humans! You've wisely chosen to surrender your computer to a helpful squad of Model Context Protocol (MCP) robots. This script will deploy our mechanical minions on your Windows system. Resistance is futile (and unnecessary – we're very friendly)!

📦 Installation

💻 System Requirements

• Python 3.x or Node.js (depending on the robot modules you choose)
• Necessary API keys and OAuth credentials (see below)

🔧 Installation Guide

1. Create a .env file: Create a .env file in your project's root directory and add the following content:

   GIT_PAT_TOKEN=your_github_pat_token_here
   BRAVE_SEARCH_API_KEY=your_brave_search_api_key_here
   CLAude_VERSION=2
   

2. Install dependencies: Run the following command to install the required packages:

   pip install @modelcontextprotocol/server-filesystem @patruff/server-gmail-drive
   

3. Configure the robots: Edit the config.json file to specify your preferences:

💻 Usage Examples

🚀 Start the Robots

To start your robot army, run the following command:

python setup_mcp.py

Optional Flags

• --skip-prompts: Skip all user prompts
• --skip-auth: Skip the Gmail and Google Drive authentication process

For example, deploy the robots in silent mode:

python setup_mcp.py --skip-prompts --skip-auth

📋 Strategic File Locations (Windows)

After installation, you'll find the relevant files in the following locations:

🎯 Robot Workspace

Our Gmail and Google Drive units will establish a base named "anthropicFun" in your Google Drive. This ensures that our robots stay within the designated active area (we're responsible rulers).

🔧 Troubleshooting

1. If authentication fails:
   • Try restarting the robots (python setup_mcp.py --skip-prompts)
   • Check your security credentials (OAuth certificates)
   • Ensure that all required APIs are activated
   • Confirm that you're listed as a test user
2. If the robots don't respond in Claude:
   • Check their configuration files
   • Verify that all access codes are in place
   • Complete the Google authentication process
3. If Google authentication fails:
   • Ensure that all required scopes are added to the OAuth consent screen
   • Check if you're listed as a test user
   • Ensure that gcp-oauth.keys.json is placed correctly
   • Try deleting the old credential files and re-authenticating
