An MCP server that provides comprehensive access to the Model Context Protocol specification through prompts and resources. This server helps LLMs and humans understand and use the MCP specification via complete JSON schemas and detailed documentation.

When to Use This Solution Instead of Web Search or Other RAG Solutions?

Although the same information is already available on the web, if you have a use case that requires precise specification information, directly obtaining the specification details as context will yield more reliable results.

Since these resources should easily fit within the model's content window size, using a more complex RAG solution isn't really necessary if you don't need to perform document comparisons or other complex queries.

Other Ways to Achieve the Same Goal

If you prefer an ad - hoc approach, you can also use an MCP server like fetch to do the following:

1. Fetch the content of https://modelcontextprotocol.io/llms.txt to get a list of valid links.
2. Retrieve relevant content from the links based on the relevance to the current task.

📦 Installation

Prompts

• explain: Provides a comprehensive explanation of an MCP topic with complete documentation context. Requires a topic parameter to specify the MCP topic to be explained in detail.
• evaluate_server_compliance: Evaluates the compliance of a given server repository against the Model Context Protocol (MCP) specification. Requires a path parameter to specify the path of the MCP server repository to be evaluated.

Development

1. Clone the repository:
