🚀 Open MCP Authentication Proxy

Open MCP Authentication Proxy aims to provide secure authentication and authorization for MCP (Model Context Protocol) by integrating OAuth providers such as Auth0 and Keycloak. This proxy supports two transport modes: the default mode based on SSE (Server-Sent Events) and a custom mode using stdio.

📦 Installation and Execution

1. Build from Source Code:

   git clone https://github.com/wso2/open-mcp-auth-proxy
   cd open-mcp-auth-proxy
   go get github.com/golang-jwt/jwt/v4 gopkg.in/yaml.v2
   go build -o openmcpauthproxy ./cmd/proxy
   

2. Run the Proxy:

   # Use the default SSE mode
   ./openmcpauthproxy
   
   # Use the stdio mode (requires configuration in config.yaml)
   ./openmcpauthproxy --stdio
