🚀 Metricool MCP Server

This is a Multi-Agent Collaboration Protocol (MCP) server designed to interact with the Metricool API. It enables AI agents to access and analyze social media metrics, marketing campaign data, and schedule content publishing on your Metricool account.

📦 Installation

Prerequisites

MCP is still new and evolving. We recommend you follow the MCP documentation to grasp the basics of MCP.

• Metricool account (Premium) with API access
• Claude Desktop (or Cursor, or any other MCP client)
• uv
• git

Configuration

1. Configure Claude Desktop Create the following file on your operating system:

On MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

On Windows: %APPDATA%/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json%

Paste the following template into the file and replace <METRICOOL_USER_TOKEN> and <METRICOOL_USER_ID> with your own Metricool API and ID information:

✨ Features

The server implements multiple tools to interact with the Metricool API:

1. get_brands(state: str)

   • Retrieve the list of brands in your Metricool account.

2. get_instagram_reels(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Fetch the list of Instagram Reels in your Metricool account.

3. get_instagram_posts(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Obtain the list of Instagram posts in your Metricool account.

4. get_instagram_stories(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Get the list of Instagram stories in your Metricool account.

5. get_facebook_posts(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Retrieve the list of Facebook posts in your Metricool account.

6. get_facebook_stories(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Fetch the list of Facebook stories in your Metricool account.

7. get_twitter_posts(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Obtain the list of Twitter posts in your Metricool account.

8. get_x_posts(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Retrieve the list of X (formerly Twitter) posts in your Metricool account.

9. get_blueSky_posts(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

   • Fetch the list of Bluesky posts in your Metricool account.

10. get_youtube_videos(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

    • Obtain the list of YouTube videos in your Metricool account.

11. get_twitch_streams(init_date: str, end_date: str, blog_id: int)

    • Retrieve the list of Twitch streams in your Metricool account.

12. post_schedule_post

    • Schedule or batch publish posts in a Metricool brand.

13. get_best_time_to_post

    • Get the best time to post for a specific social network. Returns days and hours along with their values. Higher values indicate more suitable posting times.

14. update_schedule_post

    • Update the scheduled posts within the same conversation.
